Individual DBT Coaching can help you achieve greater calm and confidence. You will practice the use of skills for better mood and behaviors. Mindful Mind and Body was founded on the use of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT by Marsha Linehan, PhD). And we work with all types of emotional, behavioral and relationship challenges. Our coaching is for all ages: adolescents to older adults.
If you struggle with managing your moods, have trouble remaining calm, or you are challenged in your relationships, then DBT coaching may be the solution. We have experienced and trained DBT providers. Furthermore, they offer a supportive, non-judgmental perspective; while challenging you to achieve your interpersonal and psychological goals.
Though we use the DBT Modules of mindfulness, coping skills, mood management and interpersonal effectiveness; Individual DBT Coaching is not the same as therapy.
If your struggles run a bit deeper and you would like to address the challenges and management of mental health issues, then a therapist would be your best choice. We have several DBT Trained Therapists at Mindful Mind and Body as well.
